Shipping Policy
We ship orders out within 1-5 days of receiving orders. Unfortunately, we are not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers. We offer free shipping on orders over $50. If you have an issue with your order, please contact us at info@workabilityfl.org and we are happy to help!

 

When will I receive my order?
Typically, 5-8 business days once we ship it out.

 

How do you ship with no waste?
We only use up-cycled, recycled, recyclable and compostable materials. All shipping material is 100% plastic-free. If you have a question about your products or how to properly compost, recycle or reuse any packaging you receive, send us an email, we’re happy to help!

In order to repurpose shipping materials we acquire from our makers and vendors, we spend a lot of time breaking down boxes, organizing recycling and compost and tearing up up-cycled paper so that we can continue to find as many ways possible to keep our processes zero waste.

As much as we appreciate business from all over the US, our focus is local business for many reasons. We want to offer low markup costs to our local customers so that living with less waste and buying sustainably is affordable. Often times, there is a shop similar to us that is closer to you and with a little googling you are likely to find something that will offer you less shipping miles. 

If you do choose to ship with us, we also choose to ship the majority of our packages through USPS since they already come to your residence on a daily basis. This cuts down gas and extra trips from other shipping carriers.

 

Why do some of your products have packaging?
Even though we pride ourselves on working with companies that are low-waste we cannot control some of the packaging that comes with our orders. There are many things we do to cut down waste which also include taking care of recycling, composting or up-cycling any materials we receive that are not necessary to send alongside your order. We are happy to say that we are a 98% zero waste shop.

If you look closely throughout our product descriptions, you will also see advice written from us personally on how to properly recycle or compost a product once it has reached the end of its' life.

 

 

Returns

Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a refund or credit. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and in new condition. You’ll need the receipt or proof of purchase. We will issue you a refund to your original payment method minus the cost of the return shipping label provided. 

 

Exceptions and non-returnable items even if in new condition; 

Certain types of items cannot be returned to us such as personal care goods, beauty products, and liquid refills. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item and we will evaluate refunds or store credits on an individual basis.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Damages and other issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If your order arrives damaged, you have 14 days to notify us to receive a replacement.

 

Online Order Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@workabilityfl.org.

 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you are able to purchase a new item or replacement is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item unless stated otherwise by a staff member.

To start a return

You can contact us at info@workabilityfl.org for online orders. If your online return is accepted, we’ll email you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Upon receiving your returned items we will issue you a refund to your original payment method minus the cost of the return shipping label.
